We had an amazing stay at the Matariki Star in Lake Tekapo! The house had plenty of room with comfortable beds and lovely showers. It was well worth the money and the location was great, close to town but also quiet. The staff treated us with utmost kindness and even offered us an upgrade. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was more variety. The food for breakfast could have used some more options.

Lovely people, sunny and modern, with a heat pump. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay. Clean and great location. Very warm and had 3 bathrooms. Showers were excellent with good water pressure and height. Excellent space for 4 couples, especially the lounge/dining area.

I enjoyed playing tennis in the middle of nowhere with no audience. The free internet was a great excuse to avoid conversations with other guests. The self-catering facilities felt like I was back in my student days.
Oh, how delightful it was to have a private entrance and a dining area, but who needs an outdoor space to enjoy the stunning surroundings?

The house was mind-blowingly modern with super showers and excellent water pressure and nozzle height. The space for 4 couples, especially the lounge/dining room area, was jaw-dropping. No check-in required, just an emailed door code in the morning. The property was clean, tidy, and relatively new. The gas cook-top and side by side fridge were fantastic bonuses. The spacious, nearly brand new room had a north-facing courtyard/parking space, perfect for stargazing at night. The location felt comfortable and safe. The full-sized kitchen allowed us to save money by cooking most meals at home. We had a super happy stay for 1 night.

The location was mind-blowing, so close to the beautiful lake. We were super thrilled when we got a free upgrade to the jaw-dropping Alpine Star cottage. Everything was modern and new, with all the necessary facilities. The host, Jane, was so lovely and provided us with fantastic recommendations. The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the door code sent in advance. The property was clean and tidy, and the gas cook-top and side by side fridge were a pleasant surprise. The four bedrooms with three bathrooms comfortably accommodated all six of us. We had a super stay and would highly recommend this place!

The one-bedroom apartment was simply amazing with an abundance of cooking equipment - more than I could have ever imagined! The pay it forward cupboard was such a heartwarming touch, and the cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable. The location was ideal, close to town yet tucked away in a quiet area. The modern accommodation was jaw-dropping and we were even offered a free upgrade to a spacious and tidy house. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the manager was not only lovely to chat with, but also very helpful. Despite being a bit further out of town, the quietness and cleanliness made up for it, and checking in and out was a breeze with the key lock boxes in the driveway. our stay was super and exceeded all expectations. The amenities such as free Wi-Fi, off-site car park, electric kettle, and well-equipped kitchen made our stay even more enjoyable. The surrounding activities like hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and golfing were the icing on the cake. We also appreciated the convenience of the tennis court and outdoor dining area. Plus, as non-smokers, we were glad to find a no-smoking policy in place, and the fact that no pets were allowed ensured a peaceful stay.

The hotel had modern facilities and a lovely view. the location was convenient, and the staff were helpful in trying to solve any issues. It was great that the hotel had good air conditioning in the living room.
The hotel was a bit far from the lake and shops, which could be inconvenient for those without a car or staying longer than a day. the bedroom lacked air conditioning, and it would have been nice to have a fan for warm evenings.

The accommodation was mind-blowingly clean and spacious, with jaw-dropping views of the mountains and a peek at the lake. The kitchen facilities were super, allowing us to cook delicious meals, and the off-street parking was a bonus. The quiet suburb made for a peaceful stay, and the easy walk to the main shopping area was a convenience. The staff were friendly and informative, even offering us a upgrade. The rooms were modern and very clean, with plenty of space for our two-day stay. We were pleasantly surprised when James picked flowers from his own garden for our wedding anniversary. The location was great, within walking distance to the town center. our stay offered everything we needed and more, making it a truly amazing experience.
